Game was a bit of a damp squib today, which sounds negative, but it’s true. We were just too good. Lincoln aren’t generally much kop, but we made them look like a kids team today. I don’t think we got out of 3rd gear really, and that’s not a criticism, we are just that good. First goal came after a period of sustained pressure and a scramble that ended with Hicks tapping home. The ball was going in anyway (like Morgan’s last week) and he risked getting flagged offside (it looked offside to me from the other end) but lino didn’t give it, much to the annoyance of their back 4. We quickly extended our lead though the newly prolific Declan OHare, and the Ollie Brown Hill put the game beyond doubt before half time by tucking in the rebound after his penalty was saved. They had a man sent off (didn’t see why), and by then it was game over (if it wasn’t already). We just went through the motions in the 2nd half. Rested players, knocked it about. Onto the next game. Annoyingly though Leek won easily again too, and literally every other side in the top 9 won their games. Keep plugging away, and let’s hope it’s still in play on that last game of the season. I’m sure there will be ups and downs before then tho. Keep the faith. COYR

Can't argue with that Dean. We were very solid today and played the way we wanted to. I'm convinced our performance would have impressed "Staffy" who was there today. Anyone know why he was there?

Won’t get many easier wins than that for the rest of the season. Game over by half time, made worse for Lincoln for a sending off for a very poor tackle. Still about the only thing the referee got right. Scored the first as a result of a scrappy goal from a corner hitting the bar, before Dec, who seems to only find the net at the moment grabbed another after a brilliant flowing move. OBH wrapped it up near the end of the second half with a rebound from his own penalty. Tried to be too clever in the second half when they were down to ten men I thought hence why we never added to our tally, it’s a shame as goal difference could have a real say in the final standings come April but for now it’s another 3 points and still on Leeks tail. Difficult away trip next week at in form Frickley where our unbeaten run will face one of its toughest tests yet I think. Frecklington doing a great job up there and would no doubt love to get a result on Drury. Still, cannot complain, 15 unbeaten and another clean sheet today. Keep it up Daniels.
