I'd be surprised if he is still manager on Tuesday night - either through his choice or the clubs. Today was the worst performance that I have seen from any team in quite a while. The opposition were a well organised team with a few speedy forwards and they made us look awful. It didn't help that we were devoid of any ideas and until olly came on, we didn't look as though we could spring two passes together. I'll be there on Tues night hoping to see a bit more organisation and goal threat.

I nearly left at half time, that was as bad as it gets, tactically it was a shambles. There’s only so much Haystead could do today with the rubbish in front of him, wonder what today’s excuse will be?

I know it's easy to go over the top on these occasions but this was a very poor performance. It felt as if the team had never played together before. The passing Was particularly poor with regard to both choice and execution. The manager must surely advised them at half time that we were playing in red. Market were a solid side who knew what they were doing but last season we would have seen them off. I wrote about Plan B earlier I just hope we didn't see It to-day.

A total rebuild next season, he said in his post match interview.....how many rebuild's does he want? Worse than Teresa May.

Would urge people to see last weeks comments of ex coaches Mike Hogg and Wayne Hallcro on twitter this last week regarding Graham. Implies he has faced many problems this season often completely out of his control. Its certainly been a very disappointing season, and the majority of games would suggest we really aren't far off doing well (completely ignoring yesterdays game that is). We are probably a Delroy/Eze esque central defender and a 25 goal a season striker away from that top 5 in my opinion. I stick to my comments previously posted on this forum, that he stays, and is given until the end of September of next season to get us off to a good start. If not that still leaves plenty of time for someone else to come in and try to rescue the season if it is going to pot. But promotion next season is an absolute must.

Rebuild needed -
1) Give Chally a chance as gaffer
2) Make Burgess captain as he always gives everything on the pitch
3) Make it a priority to find and keep hold of an old fashioned brick shithouse of a centre forward (who is also MOBILE!)
4) Teach tactics and strategies in training for game management when we are in the lead in a game. This has been sorely lacking this season.
5) Encourage the forwards to shoot more often as we seem to have been trying to pass it into the net too often this season. (John Sands showed a glimmer of this in his short stay)

Losing so often in the final minutes of games is not just mentality, it is fitness. Last couple of seasons you always felt we were strong in the last 10 mins of games. We could see out close games and rescue points in the final moments. Now we get sloppy and make mistakes.

Good point Mr Lambert definitely need upping their fitness yesterday did have a feel of a pre season friendly about it not quite sure how they managed to have 11 players still on the pitch at half time shocking tackle on player of the season Mr Burgess but 2nd half was very lazy great goal to win it though

I also agree with Mr Lambert. It has been clearly evident that we have lost the second half of matches frequently. In fact if we had not done so we could have been in the play-offs. It may well be as was said that this was down to fitness but I also think it's down to what happens at half-time. Think about it as an opposing manager and Your side are a goal down and needing the points that's when you earn your corn. You are going to give your team a roasting and expect your team to come out all guns blazing. If you are in the lead you know you have to react to that by nullifying it and again that' defines successful managers. Among other strengths.

(John Sands showed a glimmer of this in his short stay) Unfortunately Chally hasn't got enough experience in my opinion to take us up and comparing Drury and Challs, I'm going to be controversial and say id rather Drury, I still dont really advocate getting rid of him either. What happens if Challs takes over and we dont perform next season, I think you'd wish Drury was still in charge. Agree with point 2, Burgess has been a different class this season and really proved me wrong from when he first joined so fair play to the lad. I think Gregg would offer that brick shithouse centre forward role if he lost a bit of weight. He really got into shape in his time at Boston where he was quite effective, get him back into that shape and I think it would reap rewards. From winning positions we've lost something like 25 points this season, which would put us 2nd had we seen games out. Obviously you are going to lose points from winning but how many times we've done it is crazy. As Drury said in his post match interview yesterday, Henry and Del last season were expert in seeing games out fairly comfortably and a centre back pairing like that is going to be needed again for a push next season. Still sticking by my original comments that Drury does not go....yet.
