Sands pulled up in training on Tuesday according to the Mercury’s pre match report. Drury wanted him to play today but now expects him to have an operation. However Keiran wells tweeted yesterday a picture of him and brad in Stamford shirts with the #TBC so who knows.

They werent of their best form last season although did score some really important goals. Just imagine if brad could find the form he had at spalding 2016/17 and kieran the sort he was having for basford last season

Why the hell is our best player Reece Morris on the bench?

Why the hell have we forced out a goal scorer and kept an injury prone player. Scores goals for every club he's played for scored again today.

He’s got ability has grant Ryan but his ego was way too big. Threw a tantrum every time he was on the bench and only happy if he starts every game.. He might score goals but nobody is bigger than the club, had a negative effect on the dressing room better him out. Surprised no thread has been created on today’s result?? 93rd minute equaliser and a well deserved one by all accounts???

Ryan may have scored yesterday but the team still lost. Was never impressed with him and neither was anyone I have spoken to.

If Kettering was backs to the wall then this Trophy encounter v Barwell was full on assault. Initial goal was just a stroke of luck and not sure which part of Tower’s head it came off but after that it looked like one-way traffic with Stamford having the lion’s share of the better scoring chances. Although Armstrong was deservedly MOTM the whole team should take credit for a never-say-die attitude and a replay was the least they deserved. Stunning equaliser btw and I think I may have gotten a bit over-exuberant and given their players some words of encouragement leaving the pitch but, hey-ho, who gives a flip cos we’re in the draw for the next round. Roll on Tuesday for another rousing cup tie, and hopefully progression to the next round. Great day out!

Anon. There must be many fans in the home changing room and dugout to know all those goings about one particular player. Also if we are performing so well why does Dan keep being nominated MOM?

Firstly George, you've only started posting on this forum in the last few weeks, and while not explicitly mentioning his name it is quite obvious you are trying to overhype Grant. Also, I can't make too many games as of late so I rely on other fans to tell me what's going on, and its only repeating what I've heard, I can assure you I'm neither a member of the management or playing staff. Just a fan who can't make many games at the moment. Never said either we have been playing well, sat mid table is absolutely not where we belong, and its not too hard to see why Dan gets nominated motm, because on the whole he seems to pull off class performances, one of our best players in my opinion. Still need a striker who can CONSISTENTLY find the back of the net

Anon.I think you've missed the point George was making. He was only speaking up for a player that you have pick upon out of all the others and if you haven't been able to attend regularly why take others word.Make your own opinions.

So we've got a biggeorge60, bigal70 AND bigall70 on this forum who all registered on this forum on the same day within hours of each other. Not suspicious at all and absolutely don't think they're the same person. But okay, I will only comment unless im at a game in future. Bear in mind I made the same comments re grant Ryan during his first spell. He's good when he can be bothered whereas you'll find other players giving 100% week in week out. see Duffy, burgess, eze, Armstrong etc

I was one on Ryan’s biggest fans and was glad to see him back, he is an out and out goal scorer. But I was disappointed with his performances this time round, he never seemed too interested and never seemed to put his all in. But I’m sure this wasn’t completely one sided! I agree with comments regarding Reece Morris, he always seems to make a difference when he comes on!
I thought yesterday was a great game and we thoroughly deserved the draw and were the more offensive team! The most disappointing part of yesterday was the crowd, mid 200’s! I’d have thought after the Kettering game we could have mustered nearer 400!
Hopefully a good draw tomorrow will drive us on for a win on Tuesday!
