Its A Knockout in town
Entry Details
Arena
The event will take place on Sunday 22nd May, 2011 at Stamford Rugby Club, Hambleton Road, Stamford, PE9 2RZ.
Teams
Teams require between 6 to 10 players and can be of mixed sex and age.
All players must be aged over 16.
The games are physical but the main emphasis is on fun and lots of laughs.
Most games are in relay format to encourage maximum participation from the whole team.
Any team member can opt out of a particular game (it just means that another member of you team might have to work a bit harder!).
All participants will be required to sign a disclaimer and attend a safety briefing.
Any participant deemed unfit to take part due to alcohol intake will not be allowed to enter the games arena.
We recommend wearing sports clothes and trainers, or imaginative dress if you fancy it!
Please ensure you bring a towel and change of clothes, as you will get wet…that’s all part of the fun!
Entry Fee
The team entry price (for 6 to 10 players) is £400 minimum sponsorship.
This entry fee includes;
Team entry into the ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge
Team photograph
Certificate for all participants
And perhaps…winners medals and £500 donation to your chosen registered Charity!
Each team needs to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150. For a team of 10, this is just a deposit of £15 person and then a minimum of £25 sponsorship per person on top. Full payment is requested 6 weeks prior to the event. Should anyone wish to donate additional sponsorship raised, this will be gratefully received by the Rotary club. If you have a preferred company Charity, you could choose to raise additional funds in support of that.
Show Time
The games commence at 2pm.
Teams must be assembled by 1.30pm to complete the compulsory registration forms and safety briefing prior to the event.
The games will last for approximately 2-3 hours.
We welcome spectators to make lots of noise and cheer you on but please note that only participants will be allowed into the It’s a Knockout arena.
Let the fun commence
The arena will be professionally managed and compered by Gable Events.
Teams will participate in each game and points will be awarded for a win, lose or draw.
There will also be extra points available on the day, e.g. for the best dressed teams and for the most money raised for Charity.
The main emphasis of the day is fun…so if you fancy going through the ‘human washing machine’ and bouncing to victory in the ‘banana dash’ then please register your team.
