You say that Drury's contacts aren't that good South of Stamford, but didn't he win the Southern league with Corby?

Fair comment Dean, but I merely questioned Gresh's Southern contacts these days. It's quite a few years since he was at Corby. But as I said, Gresh deserves the chance if we do move South. To call for his head now is nonsense.

Interesting you would get rid of do many players? Personally I feel majority of players are talented it just seems we revert to pumping it forward and miss out the more creative players in middle Morgan Burgess and possibly Duffy can all create and scored goals in fact Burgess had scored as many as the strikers be it they change by the week GD needs to sort the play making out and stop Haystead from kicking it long to no one pointless

Burgess was having a realy good goal scoring patch at one stage think he is probably the most underated player we have Duffy just passes blind hopeful balls morgan definitely not the player of last season. How long do you give drury if you leave it till next Xmas that's another waisted season and all this talk of moving leagues is just hopeful why would we better in another division

Thats what's been mentioned already dwatch that most players come from further north than stamford at the moment and the switch to the southern central would mean they have far too much travelling to do. I agree with the points on Burgess though, I never rated him really last season but he's proved me wrong this season and is a real asset to us, I believe he lives fairly locally so we should hopefully keep him on next season. I think Christmas is the latest we should leave it with Drury if he stays on next season , anything but a strong start to next season (within 10 or so games) and maybe we should start looking elsewhere.

Yes Anon you are right Burgess lives in the Peterborough area and as someone previously said he had a good run of goal scoring but they seem to favour Morgan as a forward runner and Burgess seems to have to be more if a holding midfielder Perhaps if he had a more free run he might get a few more goals

Can anyone tell me why we havent got Reece Morris back, i thought he went to get match fit and as we seem to be signing other players it seems he isnt coming back. Hes our only player who could take people on and change a game in a big way and as we dont have any wide gifted players i cant believe weve let him go!!!!

Don’t think Drury rated him, not sure he’s playing for anyone at the moment

Agree about Reece Morris. In the few games I managed to get to early in the season he was outstanding. Other talents shown the door have included Ellis Myles (now a regular at Step 3) and Jevani Brown (EFL Division Three with Cambridge Utd). I still believe that Drury is as good a manager as we are likely to get but if your face doesn't fit you are on your way. The only time I agreed with this policy was in the case of Ryan Robbins.

Correction: Myles plays for Brackley in Step 2 and his performance yesterday earned 8/10 in the NLP.

Getting rid of a manager mid-season is usually a knee jerk reaction. But it is hardly a knee jerk reaction to catalogue the failed hopes ever since GD was hailed as the only one who could save us from relegation. Let him finish the season in style and prove me wrong....please! Otherwise....Justin could now be right
